Welcome to Eldridge/West Oaks Super Neighborhood (SN17)!
 The Eldridge/West Oaks Super Neighborhood, SN17, is in far west Houston, lying east of the City limits and just south of Buffalo Bayou. It extends down into the northern part of Alief, roughly to the Westpark Tollway, bounded by Dairy Ashford and West Houston Center Boulevard. The EWOSN includes a portion of the Energy Corridor.

EWOSN's Mission Statement
The mission of the Eldridge/West Oaks Super Neighborhood is to maintain, protect, and enhance the residential, commercial and institutional property values of the area, and to promote and improve the quality of life of its residents. It shall work diligently with all governmental agencies to improve security, flood control, and traffic and transportation efforts for the area.
About the area
The Eldridge/West Oaks area has grown from rural sprawling ranches just 30 years ago, to booming residential developments, energy, and business growth. There are numerous facilities and attractions within or adjacent to the Eldridge/West Oaks SN, including the Terry Hershey Park Trail System and the Ray Miller Park (located on Eldridge Parkway). Also within the SN's boundaries is the Archbishop Joseph A. Fiorenza Park, located just north of Westpark Tollway, and the George Bush Park just to the west. The new Kendall Library sits on the border of EWOSN and is a state of the art library, as well as a community center. The library has several meeting rooms and an indoor basketball court!
Civic and Business Partners
The Eldridge/West Oaks SN encompasses the Western Region of the Houston Independent School District and the Northern portion of the Alief Independent School District. There are also several private schools with long and esteemed histories in far west Houston, and numerous other business and community organizations.
Thanks to the generosity of one of the SN's business members, Eagle's Trace Retirement Community, the EWOSNC will now be meeting in its facility at 14703 Eagle Vista Drive, Houston, 77077. Please see the "Important Info" page for more meeting information.
Projects
The Eldridge/West Oaks SN works closely with the other SNs in west Houston on public forums and projects, accomplishing goals and facilitating City services for the benefit of all the business and community residents within its boundaries.
